In just 6 days, our Accelerated IFR Course helps you achieve your rating with clear understanding and the confidence to fly IFR proficiently. You’ll train one-on-one with an experienced CFI-I, receiving structured, personalized instruction tailored to your needs.

    • $5,500 Classroom setting

    • $6,500 One-on-one

    • Passed FAA Instrument Knowledge test (bring printed test report)

    • 50 hours PIC cross-country time

    • 25 hours of simulated or actual instrument time

    • Current flight review

    • Current FAA Medical Certificate

    • Either a valid U.S. Passport, a U.S. birth certificate, or TSA approval (for non-U.S. students)

    • Both class options include rental of our Garmin equipped Cessna 172’s, CFII, and checkride fee.

    • Up to 16.5 hours of flight instruction (including aircraft rental)

    • Unlimited ground instruction

    • Unlimited Redbird Simulator use

    • CFI-I dedicated exclusively to your class

    • Training materials including Lightning Aviation’s Accelerated IFR Course Guide

    • As this is a very fast paced course, you must come prepared.  If additional training is necessary, standard school rates for aircraft rental and instructor will apply.
